Analysis:
Love... This 'Toliprema' is a pure love story set in the background of pain. Although the story of falling in love, then breaking up, and the lovers experiencing the pain of separation is an old one, the way the director has reinvented the story is impressive. The movie has a good feel. There is a maturity in telling this story. The emotions in it connect well with the audience. Those who love love stories will definitely love this movie. The story unfolds in three stages and will move the audience. Even if the director takes a simple plot but the characters are strong, he has shown how much he can be impressed with the story.
He created beautiful moments between Varun and Raashi Khanna throughout the first half of the movie. The chemistry between them both worked out well. Conversations between lovers are natural yet impressive. Most of the time the movie runs between the hero and heroine. The interval back is not very impressive but does not hold on to the story. It must be said that it has not been so successful in showing sufficient reasons for the growing distance between the two. The Rakhi scenes, as well as the romantic scenes in the car, were the highlights. Some scenes in the second half feel cinematic. However the director succeeds in carrying the emotion. At some places the narration is very dull.
